Njabini Apparel (First Charity Post)

Njabini Apparel is a young non-profit social venture founded by
Northeastern business student Michael Behan:

"The mission is to create sustainable development in
rural and marginalized Kenyan communities, create job opportunities
for women and supporting micro-businesses with the ultimate goal of
empowering impoverished people to rise above poverty. We sell
products, hand-made in rural Kenya. These products are high quality
wool items, which bring comfort and style to our customers, while
serving as a catalyst for social change." - Michael Behan

Starting January 1st, Michael will work in Njabini, Kenya, as part of his second
co-op, to further develop outreach initiatives throughout Kenya's
South Kinangop province.
